Terms of Service
Short and specific: what Carlsbad Sub-Zero Specialists undertakes to do, what it charges for, and what it stands behind afterwards.
The work itself
These terms cover residential appliance repair carried out by Carlsbad Sub-Zero Specialists in Carlsbad: working out what has failed, fixing it, and servicing the equipment afterwards.
How a visit is arranged
An appointment is made on (858) 779-0698. Same-day slots are available most days across Carlsbad; the window you agree is the window Carlsbad Sub-Zero Specialists works to, and a change is a phone call, not a surprise.
What we need on site
Built-in equipment is serviced where it stands, so the technician needs clear access to the unit and, where water or ice is involved, to the supply shut-off. Someone over 18 has to be at the Carlsbad address while the work is done.
Parts policy
OEM parts as a rule — or an authorized supplier when the factory part is unavailable — with one exception: if you specifically ask for an aftermarket or refurbished component and we agree it is sensible, that is what goes in.
What it costs, and when
A Carlsbad repair is priced once, in advance of the work, with parts and labor in the same figure. Nothing is charged until the job is done.
Diagnosis first
Carlsbad Sub-Zero Specialists prices the repair once the cause is known. If the appliance behaves perfectly while the technician is standing in front of it, that is what you will be told — not a part swap and an invoice.
What our warranty covers
Our warranty is specific rather than sweeping — the same part failing the same way is covered, in labor and in parts. What it is not is a service contract on the appliance — a later fault with a different cause, damage from misuse or a power event, and anyone else's work afterwards all sit outside it. And if your Carlsbad appliance is still under the manufacturer's warranty, start there; sealed-system cover normally hinges on who carried out the work.
If your plans change
There is no cancellation fee. Call (858) 779-0698 before the van leaves for Carlsbad and the slot is moved or dropped with no charge.
Insurance and liability
Carlsbad Sub-Zero Specialists is licensed and insured, and the license details are provided on request before work begins. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, manufacturer defects, spoiled food, or problems unrelated to the repair we carried out.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of the State of California.
